JA is a good film and you are right about it but the dialogue delivery and the quality of dialogues in Urdu leaves one with knowledge of Urdu rather nonchallant.For the true flavour of Urdu watch movies like ‘Anaarkali’ and ‘Mughal-e-Azam’.

Jodha Akbar is a beautiful love story, but it failed to affect (except some Rajputs) in comparison to Gladiator. I saw JA only because I wanted to behold the beauty of Aishwarya Rai in traditional costumes, and truly her resplendence shone all in red colours. Hrithik is a good actor, and I was sceptical that he would not justify the role of Akbar. I was wrong.

I liked the movie, but it dragged a little bit. And the art-designing wasn’t very good (Interiors were fabulous, but exteriors looked anything but real).

It was a nice attempt by Gowariker but I don’t understand why the directors can’t make a fab movie without Aamir.

I loved the movie too.Though i found the Urdu at the beginning of the movie a bit difficult to understand..

The best hindi movie so far in terms of story and quality here in singapore and Malaysia the movie is doing well .Plus ASH AND HRITHICK WHERE SO GOOD AND LOOKS DAMM GOOD can give hollywood actors and actress run for their money. i am glad good movie it make me pround in land of non indians here .keep u the good work

The movie was awesome but it kept wanting me for more…I think the movie SHOULD have been a little longer…after all it is about Akbar…and how many movies do we have on him…there is only mughal-e-azam…
anyways, the choreography of Khwaja mere Khwaja was kinda funny!!

The review is great! Simple yet cunningly shrewed. I am impressed.

I think JA is an amazing movie. Who says there is no cinematography? Did you managed to see the fight scenes, not to mention the scene when Jodha enters the Agra kila fir the first time and the whole kila is shown to her.

AND AND AND… the sword fight between Hrithik and Ash is the SINGLE MOST SEXIEST THING I HAVE SEEN IN A HINDI MOVIE off late!!!!!

I would have loved if the fight scene ended with a kiss. But knowing the raj-fucking-puts, they would probable file a lawsuit against poor Ashutosh for sexually molesting Jodha.
