Missing Person Alert: Aamir Khan, age 42, colour fair, cropped hair.
Dear All
With great regret I inform you that my Idol Aamir Khan is missing. I don’t know where he went. Please help me find him – I’ll be grateful.
Here is some information that will help you identify him:
Physical Characteristics
- Color: Fair
- Height: 5’5”
- Age: 42
- Hair: Cropped
Behavioural Characteristics
- Leads an extremely private life; rarely appears on television
- Is very careful what he says in public; his interviews are punctuated with long ums and ahs
- Is extremely choosy with endorsements; endorses only the classist of products
- Makes only one film at a time
- Is not very social; doesn’t go for film premiers and parties
He was last seen in December 2007. Since then there has been no knowledge of his whereabouts. Anyone who finds him will be rewarded with lots of love and good wishes from me and many others like me.

- Is so naïve that he openly jokes about his pet dog being named Shahrukh, apparently not foreseeing even once the inevitable media frenzy over such a comment
- Is endorsing Monaco biscuits
- Is shooting one film and producing two others at the same time
- Was seen at the premier of Race – a hardcore masala film; claims that he likes the work of Abbas – Mustan (the masters of masala, often trash, films)
Don’t be fooled by this fake Aamir. Please find the real Aamir for me. However, if you do bump into the faux-Aamir, please do me a favour. Ask him a simple question:

I have been reading ur posts and like most of them for your style of writing and the way you think.
This one indeed is a good showcase of ur sentiments. Not sure about the other “behavioral characteristics” but I read his post about his caretaker’s dog being named Shahrukh and I think media has hyped it. Insulting a fellow colleague is no good but may be the dog is really named Shahrukh and as Aamir mentioned it was the caretaker who named it and that too in admiration of the actor (at least I took the meaning that way).
It is evident that he purposefully wrote about the dog on the blog but admire his sense of humor

You are right that the media has hyped it. But don’t you think it was obvious that was going to happen? I agree it was humorous and Aamir provided all the disclaimers. But Aamir should have known better. He, of all people, has had first hand experience of our sensationalist media.

I guess he was just having some fun with the whole srk thing and maybe he likes aabas mustan movies…but why monaco??? I mean out of all the possible brands in india, he chose to promote biscuits!!

i totally agree with u nitesh. i hv been feeling the same as u r at this time. i m also lookin for my idol aamir khan. bt for last few months i hv been watchin a guy who is jst like others. he has got ego ,selfishness and rudeness like others. he has been doing things which other people do. in fact he is not my idol now , he is just an other guy. i still feel he wil be the same again. i think the flame thru which i used to get my energy is gettin dim . bt still i love him . and also lookin forward to ghajini.

Your writing is like a stupid immature rascel. Like a headless creature. It’s like those who watch a movie and start thinking that this character is real. You of course saw the TV series friends. There was an episode where Joey’s fan ( brooke shield ) thought that his character “drek remoure” was a real person. Is that what happened to you.
